As some of you know my husband is in the Army and we recently relocated from Hawaii to New York. Right now we are staying in Army lodging which does offer internet but not enough to pull certain areas but it is free so can not complain. it is beautiful here . I hope to get pictures of all the leaves before they are gone. Being in Hawaii for 7 years makes you forget the beauty of the mainland. I am sure some of you are saying wait till the snow but believe it or not our youngest who is 13 hasnt ever expereienced all four seasons so It will be fun. I hope all of you are having a great week.

ReplyDeleteI 'totally' agree with you about missing the beauty of the mainland. I haven't been in Hawaii very long, but I already miss the cooler weather, the snow, the great beauty of my home. Taking an assignment on the island is very challenging. Working full time, going to school full time, and trying to find a little breather here and there to enjoy the beach once a week. I only have 19 wks of school left until graduation and then its on to PA school. I will not quit until accepted into the program.

ReplyDeleteHow did you ever stay in Hawaii for 7 years?? That is a long time. It's the same weather day in and day out. Quite boring. I am missing the fall weather, wearing cozy flannels, and preparing my house for winter.
Hawaii is beautiful, but I'm not staying longer than I have to.
